Super Eagles Overseas-Based Players Given Week Off

Default

The 15 invited overseas-based players for the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Chad have been given a week off ‘to rest and recuperate’ after a long season abroad, and are now expected to report to camp on Tuesday, June 2.

The players are expected to report to Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna, where the game against Chad’s Le Sao will be held. Meanwhile, the home-based players are already in Katsina where they are billed to play a friendly today against local side Spotlight Football Club to open the new Karkanda Stadium.

The team will then return to Abuja, before leaving for Kaduna.
