LMC To Re-arrange NPFL Fixtures, Kickoff Time To Avoid Clashes With Euro Leagues.

League Management Company (LMC), Shehu Dikko has revealed the league body is considering changing dates and kickoff time of the NPFL games to avoid clashing with the European league games. 

Cross section of the media believes the kickoff of the new European leagues season might halt the massive turnout of the fans for NPFL games. The NPFL recorded a huge fan turnout during the off season in Europe.

Speaking in Abuja, the LMC boss divulges that the league body will redesign the match day fixtures and kickoff time.
"We want to avoid situation when our League games will clash with top European league games, we have to sustain the achievement of the fans turnout which means we have to redesign our match day programmes, "Dikko opined

"We have plans to spread games over the weekend from Friday, some games will hold on Saturday while others will be schedule for Sunday"

"We are trying to get more games on Television, for the audience to catch more games live on TV. We are hoping to host Wednesday and Friday night games

"We have challenges of infrastructure and security but we will make attempt to come up with night league games, Friday and Saturday games might also be on TV while other fixtures will hold on Sunday. Hopefully our plans will work out and we will be able to sustain the crowd attendance," Dikko said.

NPFL matchday 21 fixtures will hold this Wednesday across league venues.
