The Flying Eagles of Nigeria will train twice daily while in Germany as opposed to their former format of training once during preparations for games and tournaments.
The late arrival of training kits for the team means they will observe their first training session tomorrow morning and another session is planned in the evening as they step up their preparations for the World cup.
Reports say the morning session will mostly involve physical training while that of the evening will be more tactical as the coaches aim to inculcate new players with their system of play which coach Manu Garba’s calls total football.
We also gathered friendly games are already being organised for the team while in Germany and if those plans are successful they will play three test games with youth sides of Germany League teams.
Due to the non-arrival of some of the foreign based players invited they decided to organize the test games two weeks after their arrival as expected, most of the foreign based players would have been in camp.
