Super
Eagles Coach, Sunday Oliseh, has invited 23 home-based players to camp in
readiness for next month’s 2017 Nations Cup qualifier away to Tanzania.
Warri
Wolves striker, Gbolahan Salami, top the list of some of the invited players. Others
are Orji Kalu (Rangers), Samson Gbadebo (Lobi Stars), Jamiu Alimi (Shooting
Stars), Stephen Eze (Sunshine Stars), Ifeanyi Mathew (El-Kanemi), Usman
Mohammed (FC Taraba), Azubuike Okechukwu (Bayelsa United), Kingsley Sokari
(Enyimba) and Bright Onyedikachi (FC Ifeanyi Ubah).
Players
also invited include some national U-23 team players which include goalkeepers
Olufemi Thomas and Ikechukwu Ezenwa and Tunde Adeniji.
The
players are expected to report to camp on Monday, August 17.
Nigeria
plays Tanzania in Dar es Salaam on September 5 in one of the second round games
of the qualification series for Gabon 2017.
