NFF Organizing Committee, headed by 1st Vice President Seyi Akinwunmi
The Organizing Committee of the
Nigeria Football Federation will decide a new date and venue for the final of
this year’s men and women Federation Cup competitions.
Disclosing this today, NFF Secretary
General, Mohammed Sanusi, says the August 30 date earlier fixed for the final has
been affected by some factors.
He explained that Nigeria’s male
and female soccer teams for the All Africa Games will leave the country the
same day.
However, Sanusi added that Federation
Cup may now hold at the end of September.
Lobi Stars will face Akwa United in
the men’s final while Bayelsa Queens take on Sunshine Queens in the women's final.
