Premier
League duo Stoke and Southampton have made checks on Sampdoria striker Stefano
Okaka ahead of a possible move during the summer transfer window.
The
25-year-old had a loan spell with Fulham under Roy Hodgson during the 2010-11
campaign.
He scored
on his full Italy debut last year against Albania after deciding to reject
overtures from the Nigeria national team.
