Nigeria football stakeholders will converge on Lafia, Nasarawa State, to celebrate with the newly-elected Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state, Hon Silas Agara.
Before his election as the
state Deputy Governor, Agara was the Special Adviser on Sports to Governor
Tanko Almakura.
Reports say a delegation
from the Nigeria Football Federation will be led by an executive committee
member, Alh. Sherif Rabiu Inuwa while the League Management Company LMC will
have the Chief Operating Officer, Alh. Salihu Abubakar, as leader of delegation.
Also, the Association of
Nigeria Premier League Club Chairmen and Managers (Club Owners) will be led by the
Coordinator of club Owners, Jude Anyadufu of Enyimba FC, who is expected to
join the host Chairman of the Club Owners, Isaac Danladi, in Lafia.
Meanwhile the Club Owners
have sent a congratulatory message to Agara on his elevation to the post of the
Deputy Governor of Nasarawa state.
In the message signed by the
Ag. Secretary, Alloy Chukwuemeka, the Club owners charged him to see his new
position as a call to higher responsibility and service to the people, just as
they prayed God to grant him the needed wisdom to excel in his new assignment.
