The delegation of Warri Wolves FC of Nigeria to the CAF
Confederation Cup play-off, first leg match against AC Leopards of Congo has
arrived in the Congolese city of Dolisie.
NFF official, Emmanuel Adesanya, who is with the team, says the
delegation members slept in Addis Ababa on Thursday before flying to Brazzaville on Friday morning.
Nigeria’s only remaining team in continental competition this
year will train at the match venue, Stade Dennis Sassou Nguesso, on Saturday evening.
Sunday’s match
will kick off at 3pm Nigeria time.
In other CAF Confederation Cup play-off, first leg matches,
Esperance of Tunisia will host Ghanaian side, Accra Hearts of Oak, while
Tunisia’s Etoile du Sahel are away to Raja Casablanca in Morocco.
AS Kaloum Star of Guinea play at home to Orlando Pirates of
South Africa, Zamalek of Egypt visit Sanga Balende in DR Congo and AS Vita of
DR Congo are away to Stade Malien in Bamako.
Another Tunisian side, CS Sfaxien will be at home to ASEC
Mimosas while Tunisia’s fourth club in the competition, Club Africain is away
to eight-time African champions Al Ahly in Egypt.
