NPFL: Nasarawa Holds Rangers

Default

Enugu Rangers were held to a 0-0 draw by Nasarawa United in a Nigeria Professional Football League week ten encounter at the Nnamdi Azikwe Stadium on Wednesday.
The Enugu based club who are yet to strike a winning formula in the ten-week old campaign failed to claim all three points in front of their fans.
The Flying Antelopes went into the league fixture at the back of a hard fought 1-1 draw against Shooting Stars, but they failed to consolidate.
On match day, Nasarawa United were searching for their first point on the road and deservedly gained what they wanted at a familiar ground.
Fans of the Solid Miners were grateful to the back-four led by Seun Sogbeso and a man-of-the-match display of goalkeeper Jamos Amos, who was at his best element.

Enugu Rangers have now accumulated 11 points from a possible 30 with Nasarawa United claiming 12 from a possible 30 after the end of match day 10 in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
