Nigerian-born Adebayo Akinfenwa doesn't let 'beast mode' slip in gym Instagram snap despite the League Two season coming to an end

Adebayo Akinfenwa is making sure he's in tip-top condition for next season after snapping himself post-workout at the gym.

The AFC Wimbledon striker, who collected the Junior Dons player of the Season & Supporters Player of the Season awards, was still in 'beast mode' despite the campaign coming to an end.

The 32-year-old took to Instagram and showed off his 'dench' physique alongside brother Dele Akinz.

He captioned the post: 'Me & @delemusic just finished in the gym & u can obviously see which one of us came to work out & which one, came to pose. He has not got a drop of sweat on #GymBuddy.'

With 13 goals in the league during the campaign, Akinfenwa helped the Dons to 15th position and kept them comfortably above the drop zone.

It bodes well for next season that the target-man is making sure he's at his physical peak to keep defenders trembling at the thought of the beast.
