Real Madrid trio Cristiano Ronaldo, Toni Kroos and Pepe put Juventus loss behind them by watching Rafael Nadal sweep Simone Bolelli aside at the Madrid Open

Cristiano Ronaldo took time away from the end-of-season run-in with Real Madrid to enjoy some of the tennis at the Madrid Open in Spain on Thursday.

Two days after his side were beaten 2-1 in the first-leg of the Champions League semi-final against Juventus, the Portugal star took a seat to watch Rafael Nadal in action on the clay.

Ronaldo was joined by team-mates Toni Kroos and Pepe to watch the Spaniard ease past Simone Bolelli of Italy in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Nadal, a four-time winner of the competition, will meet Grigor Dimitrov in the quarter-finals on Friday.

Ronaldo appeared to enjoy his time at the tennis, even posing with fans for a selfie as Nadal stormed to victory.

Madrid is back in action on Saturday when they host fourth-placed Valencia in La Liga. Ronaldo's side trail leaders Barcelona by two points with three games in the league remaining.
